Based in Paris, Loin du Paradis is a brand created by the South American artist Paradi. Through multiple mediums such as knitting, ceramics and photography she shows us her universe where the purity of ignorance and childishness faces the reality and cruelness of the outside world. 

Paradi’s work is always handcrafted. The artist has a real connection with every piece, spending hours and days working on it. 

Her work stands out for its multi-colored knitted garments with patterns and illustrations, combining intarsia knitting and crochet. A practice that requires skills and patience.

Most of the yarn she uses comes from charity shops and flea markets. She sources high-quality, natural fibers that have been overlooked for decades, and repurposes them into unique, durable pieces.
